So far, this has been an interesting experience. Despite all my time in Public Affairs, I have never deployed as such. In 2002, I deployed to Bosnia with a PAOC and was assigned as the Information Operations NCO. 46 days later I was sent to Kosovo as a Force Protection NCO. In 2003, I was a Military Historian with the 30th Military History Detachment for OIF 1.
I'm actually looking forward to doing the PA job in other than a garrison environment. My team is great and I think we'll be doing an awesome job out there, since we've been doing an outstanding job so far.
